Pupil Premium (PP) is additional money that we receive from Government to help raise the attainment of our most disadvantaged pupils to address underlying inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their wealthier peers. Pupil Premium now includes pupils in care who have been continuously looked after for 6 months and any child that has qualified for FSM at any point in the last 6 years – the so called ‘ever 6’.
How is this measured? – Performance tables capture the achievement of those pupils covered by the Pupil Premium and details are published on line.
Monitoring and evaluation – We have organised a wide range of support and extra provision for our PP children depending on the children’s needs. These groups are monitored and evaluations made on their effectiveness.
